CECE offers more visibility to the AEM

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting the visibility of the American manufacturers’ association at major world trade fairs.

Sigrid de Vries, General Secretary of CECE and Megan Tanel, Senior Vice President of AEM, signed the agreement (CECE International Exhibition Partnership Program) at the last AEM General Assembly. As a reminder, the CECE represents the European construction equipment sector and its 13 national manufacturers’ associations. AEM, based in North America, is the union representing the construction machinery industry.

One of CECE’s flagship functions is industry representation at the world’s largest trade fairs, such as Conexpo-CON / AGG, held every three years in Las Vegas (USA). As part of this agreement, the AEM becomes a "Gold" participant in the CECE Exhibition Partner Program, which offers promotional services and other business development services.

Trade fairs devoted to building materials play an essential role in the development and support of the business relationships of manufacturers, suppliers and service providers. CECE offers this sponsorship to a limited number of events in order to strengthen the links between the various players in the sector and contribute to successful fairs.
