Metso presses go easy with scrapyards

The new Briquetting Presses from Metso N Series^TM NSP^TM , convert steel, aluminum, cast iron and other metals into compact briquettes for easier handling and transporting.

These single-ram presses are equipped with a constant feeding system and a programmable logic controller (PLC). They also have a user-friendly operating system with a remote diagnosis option for easy maintenance.

The Metso N Series^TM NSP^TM briquetting presses employ specific high pressures to compress metals into stable and solid briquettes and to simultaneously extract fluids.

" They improve metal processing, improve efficiency and speed up logistics because briquettes are easier to handle and meter when remelting, and also reduce storage and transportation costs ," explains Chief Krischan Wolters Shears and Presses at Metso.
