Paprec takes over Coved, a subsidiary of Saur
According to information from Figaro, Paprec, a recycling and waste recovery specialist, is preparing to announce the acquisition of Coved, a Saur subsidiary dedicated to the collection, recycling and cleaning of public spaces.

For the record, Coved processes 2.4 million tonnes of waste per year and serves 5 million people. In 2014, this subsidiary of Saur achieved a turnover of 330 M €, recalls waste-info.com. The Saur group, meanwhile, is in third place on the podium of the actors of water treatment. The sale of Coved is part of a new policy, unveiled in early 2016, aimed at refocusing on its historic businesses.

With this acquisition, Paprec becomes a major player in recycling in France. Weapons that allow him to challenge the giants Veolia and Suez. The numerous repurchases made since 1995 have enabled the group to evolve and achieve today a turnover of almost one billion euros thanks to a portfolio of 20,000 customers, Le Figaro points out. The investments amount to 100 M € per year and the company recycles 7 million tons of waste per year on a hundred sites.
