The task was to renovate 8 essential reservoirs at the wastewater treatment plants in eastern and western Evansville. The operation was carried out by a Terex CC 2400-1 crane able to lift the lids of each tank, weighing 113.4 t, moved to allow sanding and refurbishing of the tanks. In this context, the crane with a capacity of 400 t was configured in its Vario-Superlift version, with a working radius of 11 to 15 m, a mast of 30 m and a counterweight of 240 t.
