Metso submits the metal to its NID
Oak Cliff Recycling, based in Waxahachie, near Dallas, and specialized in metal recycling, has chosen  a  solution METSO to improve  effectiveness in the treatment of metals in their recycling plant in Texas (USA).

With Metso N Series Inclined Shear (NIS), Oak Cliff Recycling will be able to speed up the processing of materials and large debris. "The NIS of Metso has the design and the ability to handle difficult materials in a short time with greater efficiency. It cleverly reduces cycling times and as the movable floor was designed to take the scrap metal to blade,  this action removes the additional time of  folding and compression in a box, "says Benhie Smith, Oak Cliff Recycling CEO.

PUBLICITÉ
The recycling company Texan had long strived with the hard-to-process materials by using traditional methods: conventional shears which slow down the production. Metso NIS has solved these problems easily. This shear can handle large debris due to its cutting force from 600 to 1250T. It can easily convert pieces of cast iron, car bodies, scrap metal from steel mills, pipes, pieces of ships or cars of train and so on….
