Vinci to upgrade German A7 motorway

On April 12, the global company in concessions and construction has announced a 30-year public private partnership agreement with the German federal government to undertake A7 improvements.

The €441M A-Modell contract commits Vinci group to manage the financing, design, upgrade and widening works, operation and maintenance for the A7 highway in Germany.

The project consists of a 60km section building between the Bockenem and Gottingen interchanges as well as the widening a 29.2km section to a three lanes new motorway.

Vinci’s subsidiary specialized in transport infrastructure construction; Eurovia is to work with the German companies Stutz and Rhode to complete the A7 project in three and half years.
