On April 4, Leighton Asia, the Hong Kong based constructor has been selected to deliver Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) development project that is expected to yield A$278M. That comprises two main phases. The construction of Terminal 1 annex constitutes the first company mission. It will be a seven stories concrete structure with steel truss roof and featuring check-in counters, baggage reclaim carousels and departure security screening channels.
