Bouygues Construction official partner of Paris 2024

Construction giant’s support can only give more credit to France’s bid for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Bouygues Construction officially signed yesterday a partnership with Paris 2024. The company will work specifically around the theme “Sustainable building thanks to shared innovation”, its area of expertise. In 2016, the Group dedicated 49% of its R&D expenses to sustainable construction.

Sustainability and innovation are precisely two values highly praised by the International Olympic Committee. When the final vote takes place in Lima on September, 13, 2017, no doubt this convincing argument will weight in the balance, as the IOC’s role is also to ensure that Olympic infrastructures will continue to be used after the Games.

Now that Bouygues has joined in, it is 19 French groups (15 partners and 4 suppliers) who have committed to support Paris in this tough competition.
