A crane bridges the distance between Faroe Islands and Denmark

Dutch distributor UN Mobilkraner managed to satisfy demanding Faroe Islands contractor ArtiCon, providing it with a Grove GMK5250L mobile crane.

With their archipelago status, Faroe Islands are characterized by an uneasy terrain featuring many steep slopes. This is the reason why Articon had special requirements regarding a new crane it ordered to Manitowoc distributor UN Mobilkraner. Its 75t rough-terrain crane had reached its limits. The company wanted a superior lifting capacity and a more flexible equipment, able to adapt to different applications.

UN Mobilkraner not only met these expectations, but provided the extra plus ArtiCon needed. The new crane is easy to handle and offers great mobility. And its VIAB turbo retarder clutch will notably allow the client to make savings on fuel consumption. The supplier then provided the after-sales service: it delivered a one-week training on how to operate the equipment and explained its advantages. Even the maintenance contract has been customized.
