Volvo excavators, articulated haulers, wheel loaders and soil compactors are the machines models used for the building project. With temperature up to 50°c and 24h usage in order to meet the 2019 deadline, the work conditions require resistant equipment.
Hadi Kaii, machine owner and Volvo CE customer at EIB Qatar said: “All machines must be equipped with air-conditioning units and operators are instructed to take regular breaks to prevent fatigue and heatstroke.”
Located in the north of Doha, the city may have the capacity to receive 250.000 inhabitants.
