New robust modular wall system Lego™-like

Kijlstra, Europe’s leading manufacturer of precast concrete drainage systems has unveiled their last innovation of a robust modular wall system, the Concrete Block.

The Concrete Block with its Lego™-like seating nodules allows a quick construction with no groundwork or fixing required, as the new concept now features two lifting anchors and two forklift points cast into each block ensuring thus an ease of manoeuvrability.
The new modular wall system includes C40/50 concrete strength and high exposure classes XA2 for aggressive environments, XC4 for carbonation-induces corrosion and XF4 for freeze/thaw attack. The blocks are available in two lengths, 1800mm weighing 600 kg and 900mm weighing 800 kg and two finishes.

The Concrete Block is the latest diversification of the company, Kijlstra has just launched 18 months ago, an interlocking perimeter security barrier which mimics a Toblerone™ chocolate bar but is designed to impale any vehicle trying to drive over it.
