Hilti sales and profit grow

The Liechtenstein based group Hilti has managed to increase its profit and sales for 2016.

The divestment of the US solar company Unirac on last april, have not affected the revenues of the manufacturer as it shows an increase of its online sales that have reached nearly €1 billion in 2016.

Christoph Loos, the CEO said: "The positive sales curve shows that our Champion 2020 corporate strategy is bearing fruit. We succeeded in using the momentum in many regions and are satisfied with the current year"

Globally, Hilti group has succeeded in all its market regions even if sales have declined in Latin America by -5.7% as a consequence of the economic and political contexts with the exchange rate fluctuations.
