Genie SX-135 XC makes its entrance in Europe

The first ever Genie SX-135 XC telescopic pod had been delivered to Steiness Liftcenter, a Copenhagen self-propelled platform relocator.

Steiness Liftcenter in Denmark now owns one of the largest and most innovative machines on the market, which must also meet the growing demand for equipment with increased range and load capacity. "When customers turn to us to rent large telescopic booms, they usually look for horizontal reach," says Poul Steiness, manager of Steiness Liftcenter. In 2000, the company was the first in Europe to offer the S-125 platform. "The Genie SX-135 XC extra-capacity nacelle is the most significant change in telescopic boom that the market has seen in the last ten years," he says.

The Genie SX-135 XC is the leader with more than 27 meters of horizontal range, with an additional 3 m range and almost a third of additional load capacity compared to conventional nacelles of the same class. Its load capacity of 454 kg with restriction and 300 kg without restriction is an indisputable asset. It is also equipped with a 9.14 m Jib-Extend telescopic pendulum, perfectly adapted to a wide range of tasks, such as the installation of windows and solar panels. The Genie SX-135 XC has also key features such as a low ground wheelbase and a negative range of 6 m.
