Stage V: Deutz supplies Putzmeister

The engine manufacturer Deutz has signed a partnership with the manufacturer Putzmeister to supply Stage V diesel engines from 2.2 l to 12 l for its concrete pumps and fluid screed machines in the coming years.

In order to comply with the new regulations on emission standards, Putzmeister opted for Deutz Stage V engines designed to integrate concrete pumps and fluid screed machines which will gradually be launched on the market from 2017. These new equipment will thus comply with the new provisions on emission standards that will enter into force in the European Union in 2019.

For its fluid screed machines, Putzmeister has retained the particularly compact Deutz TD 2.2 which replaces the D 2011. Concrete pumps will be equipped with motors from 2.9 to 12 liters.
