Euroskills 2016: France wins 6 medals

At Euroskills 2016, which took place this year from 1 to 3 December in Göteborg, Sweden, the division of Public Building and Works Sector (BTP) of France des Métiers (Profession in France) made up of young people from the CFA apprenticeship network, won 6 medals.

At the end of the competition, France was placed in the top 3 of the best countries in Europe. A total of 6 young people trained in the CCCA-BTP were awarded a medal. The gold medal goes to Yohan Christians (plastering and dry construction) trained at BTP CFA Sarthe (Le Mans); The silver medal was awarded to Maxime Couet (Solier) trained at BTP CFA Manche (Coutances) while the bronze medal was awarded to Julier Lair (painting and decoration) trained at BTP CFA Calvados (Caen).

Valentin Géray (masonry) trained at BTP CFA Loire-Atlantique (Saint-Herblain) was awarded medals of excellence to Thomas Blot (tile) trained at BTP CFA Indre-et-Loire (Saint-Pierre-des- And Martin Piasco (technical refrigeration) trained at BTP CFA Aix-les-Milles.
