Following the reintroduction of the legendary Demag brand as well as the deployments of the new 5-axle Demag range and the Terex global rough terrain line in 2016, Terex Cranes will launch a new flap-top tower crane in 2017 and add a new Crane 300 t with 6 axles to its mobile range. The manufacturer will also be presenting a new tower crane from the SK series hammerhead tower crane at the US Conexpo-CON / AGG.

Based on this observation, the company announces the sale of a plant of components and spare parts in Pecs in Hungary. It will merge in parallel two of its three existing production sites in Zweibrücken, Germany. On the other hand, it will maintain the production of Demag and all terrain lines in its Dinglerstrasse and Wallerscheid factories. However, it will cease production of the Bierbach facility in 2017 which will be sold.
As a reminder, Terex Cranes has already adjusted the production of its manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City (USA) and sold its Handling and Port Solutions business to Konecranes which will also recover the 4 models of all-terrain cranes from the production facility Montceau Les Mines (France).
