The site of the banks, facing the three borders, represents a unique opportunity for the city of Huningue: to open its city center on the river, but also to strengthen its influence within the Bâloise agglomeration of Huningue , Weil-am-Rhein and Basel. The architects of the laisné roussel agencies, Pietri Architectes and Triptyque were chosen to carry out this project.
"The architectural and landscape design of the project was guided by three ambitions: to open Hunigue on the river by creating a new relationship with the water, to inscribe the city in the Basel agglomeration with a flagship project and to offer the Huningue a new exceptional place of life, in the heart of the green framework, "the architects said in a statement.
