Eight Genie ZX-135/70 booms were mobilized for the construction of the world’s largest airport, located in Istanbul, Turkey.
In 2018, the Istanbul airport in Turkey will welcome 150 airlines offering 350 destinations to 90 million passengers and will become the largest airport in the world. In October, Borusan Makina ve Güç Sistemleri, an authorized Genie distributor in Turkey, delivered eight Genie ZX-135/70 articulating boom lifts to Aksal Çelik, specializing in the construction of steel structures. The booms will be used to build the roof of the four terminals of the airport for a two-year mission
