United Kingdom: Terex acquires PSR

Terex Group announces today an agreement to acquire Platform Service Repair Limited (PSR), an official service provider of the Genie brand, based in the UK. The transaction is expected to complete in October.

Following this acquisition, Genie customers - and other owners of nacelles - will continue to benefit from the maintenance and repair services of PSR whose network spreads throughout the UK mainland . "As we celebrate 50 years of the Genie brand, we are proud to provide to our customers in UK, our services with high quality in one-stop-shop," said Matt Skipworth, EMEAR Service Solutions Manager at Terex Aerial Work Platforms.

"With 15 years of history in delivering support to customers in the UK, PSR has all the technical skills necessary for the maintenance of any brand of powered access equipment," he adds. "On the other hand, the company covers a wide territory. A major asset for the rental companies who need to support their machine uptime in the field."

Terex PSR will continue to honor contracts for maintenance, inspection, repair and engineering cover. All current PSR employees will join the Terex Genie UK team.
